Abstract: With a dynamic changing lifestyle, more sedentary, rising technology, crazy working hours, demands, deadlines, competitiveness, obligations, and finally developing stress, the twentieth century is a reason for growing physical and pathological problems. This is also the origin of the earliest pathological illnesses. Bad posture develops as a result of a boring routine, an unsuitable work environment, and a lack of exercise. We are concerned about our health and adhere to a strict workout regimen and nutrition, but understanding our bodies and its structures is as vital. We are mindful of our exterior appearance, yet we overlook our body's intrinsic beauty. Maintaining a well-balanced physique formed by the environment and our energy should be prioritised. Yoga plays a vital part in generating this awareness, posture practise to keep us physically fit, meditation to keep our mind healthy and raj yoga helps us to have insight to know the aim of our soul which is 'peace'.The focus of this essay is on posture awareness and posture adjustment. It focuses on what posture modification is and how posture correction may help you accomplish it. It highlights the significance of posture correction and the relevance of body awareness in relation to the influence of gravitational force on our bodies, in order to bring about change in our bodies in order to maintain symmetry/balance and keep it. It also includes Ashtanga yoga, the eight limbs of yoga that are the finest guides to teaching us how to live our lives, with a logical development in building up our goals toward the aim of our lives. When I say comprehension of the body, I also mean understanding of our daily routine, the flow of posture correction from foot to toe, and the flow of yoga treatment that follows issue diagnosis. The text also covers a few crucial truths, such as how children learn by copying our physical and social conduct. It is fate to gain information and wisdom; it is our obligation to pass this knowledge on to the next generation.Sunjeevan Yoga concepts are described throughout the text, as the title suggests. Sunjeevan Yoga, like other schools of Yoga, focuses on Yoga Therapy, employing various Hatta yoga asnaas and props to treat patients with diverse physical deformities and supportive therapy to pathological diseases. Sunjeevan Yoga treatment is based on the concept of Patanjali Yoga Sutra and focuses on body and mind awareness. To summarise, Lifestyle Management is critical and urgent. Yoga, or mindfulness of the body and mind, can help with this. Spending quality time at work, with family, friends, and oneself is part of lifestyle management. How effectively we manage our physical and mental health, as well as how we prioritise our priorities. Yoga is more than simply stretching and postures; it involves posture detection and correction, as well as stretching with awareness.

Authors: Ayush Bhatt, Jivka Keshav, Dr. Sonal Parihar

Abstract: Ayurveda's goal is "Prayojanam Chasya Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam!" Cha Aturasya Vikara Prashamanam!!" (Cha.Su.30/26). Maintaining a healthy person's health and returning an ill one to health. Acharyas in Ayurveda outlined different Do's and Don'ts for maintaining health by following Dinacharya's, Ritucharya's, Ratricharya's, Sadvritta, Achara Rasayana, Rasayana, Sadaachara, Ahara vidhi, and so on. According to Ayurvedic traditions, the entire preparation is divided into two divisions. a) Aoushadha (medical formulations). b) Ahara (natural remedies) (dietetic preparations). Ahara must be given priority in this matter (diet). These can be utilised by both healthy people and patients. As a result, the notion of Pathya (wholesome) and Apathya (unwholesome) is one of the greatest in Ayurveda. It is a component of illness therapy. Vol 1, No 1 (2022): Yoga Dimensions in Contemporary Learning

Authors: Dr. Darshana Pandhare, Girish Kamat

Abstract: The modern educational system is built on the matter-based worldview, which holds that everything is nothing but matter. This upward-causation hypothesis has been a defining feature of the scientific revolution. This scientific approach to intellect growth and its practical applicability to current living is used in modern schooling centred on bread-earning. While intellectual sharpening is vital, over-sensitivity caused by this sharpening frequently leads to large imbalances and risks such as depression in teens. As a result, a comprehensive education system to handle these problems is essential. While science is advancing toward a consciousness-based paradigm (downward causation) with awareness as the originating state and matter as the end result of condensed consciousness, the educational system should likewise embrace this holistic foundation. Yoga, as a comprehensive living science, promotes whole personality development on physical, mental, emotional, and intellectual dimensions, all with a spiritual foundation. It has the potential to provide the requisite value system, character, and nation-building qualities. A research overview of this four-fold personality development and four-fold consciousness growth - civic sense, service enthusiasm, patriot awareness, and spiritual desire - has been given. Based on these studies, integrated yoga modules for teacher training have been established, and thousands of instructors have been educated throughout India to introduce yoga at the elementary, secondary, and high school levels. Integrated yoga modules appropriate to higher education levels are also being designed to provide students graduating from the education system with a whole education that includes not only bread-earning but also man-making, national-building, character-building, and value-based education.

Vol 1, No 1 (2022): “Samatva” – The Ayurvedic View Point of Homeostasis: A Narrative Review

Authors: Dr. Amulya Murthy Aku, Dr. Ashok Patil

Abstract: Ayurveda is the science of life in the genuine meaning of the term, as it elaborates on each and every facet of one's existence that would finally lead to "deergajeevana," or liberation from one's limitations (long lifespan). Even in ancient times, long lifespans were thought to be an indication of good health, and this has continued to be the case in the present day as well. The attainment of moksha is also related with a longer life expectancy, as stated by Charaka in his statement "dharmarthakama mokshanam aarogyam moolam utamam." As defined by Sushrutha, the meaning of Swasthya is the state of equilibrium between the dosha, agni, dhatu, mala and their kriyas (energy patterns). It is essential for the preservation of Samyogvahitva that the concepts of Samanya – Veshesha, Shatkriya Kala, and Ashraya – Ashrayee Bhava are understood and practiced. Even though the phrase 'Milieu Interieur' was coined in the early nineteenth century, it had been very clearly discussed in Ayurvedic classics for centuries before that under the term 'Samyogvahi' in the Charak Samhita (BC 2nd century).
