Vol 8, No 2 (2023): Machine Learning Based Public Safety Applications using Device-to-Device Communication Protocol

Authors: Riya Mishra, Dr.Amit

Abstract: The underutilized portion of the wireless spectrum will need to be better utilized due to the expected exponential growth in traffic volume in 5G-based networks. Apps for smartphones have caused an increase in data traffic on cell phone networks recently. As a result, expanding the network's capacity to accommodate new applications and services is critical. D2D communication with multiple hops requires more nodes for data transmission, especially when cooperatively-operated relays are used. Long-Term Evolution (LTE) is the most recent and most technologically advanced cell phone technology that is about to be introduced to the market. LTE and its advanced version appear to be an appealing solution for many businesses since they offer exceptional peak data speeds in both the uplink and downlink directions. Public safety communications is currently one of the fastest-growing fields in the world. In accordance with two homogeneous Poisson Point Processes, beacon-enabled and simple LTE terminals are dispersed in the vicinity of a significant event. This research looks into direct-to-device (D2D) communications. In this paper, we explore the likelihood of LTE mobile terminals forming in D2D networks using a stochastic geometry technique, and we then build an unique D2D protocol.

Vol 8, No 1 (2023): Survey on Automatic Traffic Rule Violation Detection and Fine Collection using Machine Learning

Authors: Omkar Javali, Varsha Desai, Snehal Kadolkar, Sapana Yakkundi

Abstract: Traffic law violations are a major cause of concern in our society. People’s irresponsible and careless attitudes towards driving laws has the potential to weaken the moral fiber of our society. While some progress has been made to update traffic laws, the human factor in our existing system remains a hurdle, resulting in dissatisfactory outcomes that could have been prevented. Legislation has mandated the use of safety belts and helmets by drivers, but with millions of drivers on the roads every day, it is difficult for police officers to monitor compliance. To ensure compliance with traffic regulations and improve road safety, an effective and efficient system for automatic traffic rule violation detection and fine collection is crucial in modern cities. Fortunately, the emergence of technological advancements has enabled Machine Learning techniques to provide solutions to this problem. By leveraging image processing and Machine Learning, our proposed system is able to analyze CCTV footage to detect traffic violations, such as the failure to wear seat belts or helmets. Machine Learning algorithms such as Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) and Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANRP) can be used to increase the accuracy and efficiency of detecting traffic rule violations and thus improve compliance with the law and road safety.

Vol 7, No 3 (2022): A Study on Load Levelling Algorithms in Cloud Computing

Authors:- Pankaj Kaushal, Deepanshu Sharma

Abstract:- Cloud computing might be a new computer paradigm for accessing and altering internet applications and resources. The major function of this paradigm is resource sharing rather than individual ownership of personal devices or local servers. The phrase "cloud computing" refers to the internet-based computing paradigm. This means that processing power, storage, and software are given to corporate computers in a huge data centre and sent to client devices through the internet. The installation and maintenance expenditures are avoided, which distinguishes this from traditional computer design. When compared to conventional computing, this results in greater resource utilisation and improved customer satisfaction. If not managed properly utilising validated procedures, this might lead to a higher chance of system shutdown or an imbalance in the number of requests or load on a certain system. The goal of this research is to look at some of the existing load-balancing strategies.

Vol 7, No 3 (2022): Deep Learning Model for Securing IOT Configurations for End-to-End Data Authentication

Authors:- Ridhdhi Marmik Naik

Abstract:- Compared to other biometrics, electrocardiograms (ECGs) have gained widespread acceptability as mediums for validating animations in numerous security applications, especially in new and emerging technologies. Our study utilizes this important trait to advance available machine and deep learning ECG authentication systems by leveraging the use of Fog computing servers that offer connection to Internet of Things (IoT) devices while maintaining access to computational and storage resources. Specifically, in our proposed technique, the preprocessing, feature extraction and classification routines are combined into one unit, while individual ECG signals from the database are directly fed into a convolution neural network (CNN) model and subsequently classified as an accepted or unaccepted (i.e., rejected) class. Additionally, we tailor our authentication system as a cost-efficient one focused on reducing latency, which makes it ideal for applications on Fog computing platforms. To validate our proposed model, we applied it on standard ECG signals from the Physikalisch- Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) database where outcomes of 99.50%, 99.73%, 100%, and 99.78%, respectively that are reported for accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score indicate the tenability of deploying our technique in real-time authentication systems. Furthermore, we present discussions regarding the performance of the model relative to recent techniques that are built on traditional machine and deep learning techniques.

Vol 7, No 1 (2022): E – Commerce Website for Tribal Products – Vasi Mart

Authors: Manasi Bobde, Ruchika Bhaganagrkar, Shubhangi, Shailesh Sahu

Abstract: E-commerce is one of the fastest growing segments in the Indian Economy. Though marked by high growth rate, the Indian e-commerce industry has been behind its counterparts in many developed and emerging economies, primarily due to a relatively low internet user base. In a study conducted by global management consultancy firm AT Kearney in 2015, there were only 39 million online buyers in India; a tiny fraction of the 1.2 billion who live in the country. However, increased technological proliferation combined with internet and mobile penetration, presents a favorable eco-system for the development of e- commerce in India. The country is currently at the cusp of a digital revolution. Launch of 4G & 5G services and decline in the tariffs of data plans and prices of data cards/USB dongles have reduced the cost of ownership of an effective internet connection. Availability of low cost smart phones and the extension of internet and broadband to the remotest corners will boost the augmentation of the internet user base, effectively bridging the gap between potential online buyers and actual buyers. The demographic dividend of the country also seems to encourage and favor the growth of ecommerce. The survival of the e-commerce firms in a highly dynamic environment becomes a challenging task when coupled with the cutthroat competition prevailing in the sector. The onus then lies on the firms to constantly adapt and innovate while providing an information rich and seamless experience to ensure customer loyalty. This study attempts to explore the evolution of e-commerce in India and identifies various challenges to as well the factors responsible for the future growth and development of e-commerce. The rapid changing Internet environment has formed a competitive business setting, which provides opportunities for conducting businesses online. Availability of online transaction systems enable users to buy and make payment for products and services using the Internet platform. Thus, customers’ involvements in online purchasing have become an important trend. However, since the market is comprised of many different people and cultures, with diverse viewpoints, e-commerce businesses are being challenged by the reality of complex behavior of consumers. Therefore, it is vital to identify the factors that affect consumers purchasing decision through e-commerce in respective cultures and societies. In response to this claim, the purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting customers’ purchasing decision through e- commerce (online shopping).

Vol 7, No 1 (2022): Modified Image Denoising System Using DWT

Authors: Aakriti Namdev, Anand Vardhan Bhalla

Abstract: In the past few decades, many noise reduction techniques have been developed for removing noise and retaining edge details in images. The process of removing noise from the original image is still a demanding problem for researchers. There have been several algorithms and each has its assumptions, merits, and demerits. The prime focus of this work is related to the processing of an image before it can be used in applications. The processing is done by de-noising of images. In order to achieve this, combination of de-noising algorithms are being used. Image denoising algorithms WT (Wavelet transform)and KLT(Karhunen – Loeve transform) are applied on images to remove the noise that are either present in the image during capturing or injected into the image during transmission. The WT shows an excellent performance in the denoise field while KLT shows a good performance in the signal reconstructed ability. De-noising plays a very important role in the field of the image processing. It is often done before the image data is to be analyzed. Denoising is mainly used to remove the noise that is present and retains the significant information, regardless of the frequency contents of the signal. De-noising has to be performed to recover the useful information. The main purpose of an image-denoising algorithm is to eliminate the unwanted noise level while preserving the important features of an image. PSNR, MSE and MAXERR parameters are being improved using combination of image denoising algorithms WT (Wavelet transform) and KLT(Karhunen - Loeve transform).
