A Review on Internet of Things in Manufacturing Industries

Abstract :-In today's rapidly changing manufacturing industry scenario, implementing the Internet of Things is essential for a manufacturing unit to respond effectively and work efficiently. Internet of Things is a system of sensing, processing and interacting among devices to transfer data over a network without any human to human or human to machine interaction anytime and from anywhere.  Internet of Things can collect data in real time, enhancing the productivity of the manufacturing industries. Nowadays, industries, organisations and enterprises are urging to equip fourth industrial revolution Industry 4.0. It helps in automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies and processes, including the Internet of Things, Cyber-Physical Systems and Industrial Internet of Things. Nonetheless, some challenges still need to be investigated to implement IoT in industries and enterprises.
