Abstract: Bronchial asthma is a chronic respiratory condition characterized by airway inflammation, bronchoconstriction, and increased mucus production, leading to breathing difficulties. Conventional pharmacological treatments primarily focus on alleviating symptoms and preventing exacerbations. However, the growing interest in complementary and alternative medicine, particularly Ayurveda, offers a holistic approach to managing asthma. This study examines the efficacy of Ayurvedic interventions, including herbal remedies and therapies, in treating bronchial asthma, comparing their outcomes with modern pharmacological treatments. The findings indicate that Ayurvedic treatments can significantly improve lung function, reduce asthma symptoms, and enhance the quality of life in patients. The study highlights the need for integrating Ayurvedic practices with modern medicine to provide comprehensive care for asthma patients.
