Abstract: Skin illnesses like as Shitapitta Udarda and Kotha are described in Ayu.samhitas. In current science, these can be linked to Urticaria. Actually, they are three distinct ayu. samhitas diseases. The most common symptom of these illnesses is a burning feeling and itching all over the body. There are also skin outbreaks. Piper nigrum, or Marica, is particularly beneficial in Shitapitta Udarda Kotha. Marica, often known as BlackPepper, is a plant in the Piperaceae family. According to Ayurveda, the taste (rasa) of maica is Katu (pungent), the characteristics are rooksha (dry), and the potency is Hot (ushna). The after-digestion impact (Vipaka) is katu (pungent). Pipera nigrum, often known as Marica, is an abortifacient and an anthelmintic. It stimulates the skin. All of Marica's properties make it effective in skin disorders. Piper nigrum has stimulating carminative, antiasthmatic, and cutaneous stimulant properties, according to current pharmacology.
