Vol 4, No 3 (2019): Truth Discovery in Big Data Social Media Application

Abstract:-In this system first one is “misinformation spread†where a significant number of sources are contributing to false claims, making the identification of truthful claims difficult. For example, on, Instagram, rumors, Twitter scams, and influence bots are common examples of sources colluding, either intentionally or unintentionally, to spread misinformation and obscure the truth. The challenge is “data sparsity†or the “long-tail phenomenon†where a majority of sources only contribute a small number of claims, providing insufficient evidence to determine those sources’ trustworthiness. For example, in the Twitter datasets that we collected during real-world events, more than 90only contributed to a single claim. Third, many current solutions are not scalable to large-scale social sensing events because of the centralized nature of their truth discovery algorithms. We are going develop a Scalable and Robust Truth Discovery (SRTD) scheme to address the above all challenges. In this, the SRTD scheme jointly quantifies both the reliability of sources and the credibility of claims using a principled approach.

Abstract:-In today’s post, we will learn how to recognize text in images using an open source tool called Tesseract and Open CV. The method of extracting text from images is also called Optical Character Recognition (OCR) or sometimes simply text recognition. In this paper an assistive system has been proposed which is useful for visually impaired or also normal person. It is the system which reads texual information present on papers and produce corresponding voice using OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and TTS (Text- To-Speech) system. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is a system that provides a full alphanumeric recognition of printed or handwritten characters by simply scanning the text image. OCR system interprets the printed or handwritten characters image and converts it into corresponding editable text document. The text image is divided into regions by isolating each line, then individual characters with spaces. After character extraction, the texture and topological features like corner points, features of different regions, ratio of character area and convex area of all characters of text image are calculated. Previously features of each uppercase and lowercase letter, digit, and symbols are stored as a template. Based on the texture and topological features, the system recognizes the exact character using feature matching between the extracted character and the template of all characters as a measure of similarity.

Abstract:-It is important to keep our vehicle clean which will make the paint last longer and will look like new one. Maintaining vehicle is important for its better looking and as well as its performance. If we maintain our vehicle time by time then its maintenance cost will be much lesser than non-maintained vehicle. Maintaining the surface of your vehicle is as important as maintaining the vehicles engine. A car that runs great and looks good may actually bring in a higher resale value than a vehicle that runs great but has a poor appearance. Clean vehicles paint will last longer and need fewer expansive repairs than paint that is allowed to become dull and thin due to oxidation. The sun beats down on your car all day every day, pollutants and dirt deeply embed themselves into your paint, and minute silver of metal become lodged into your paint which eventually rust . If you have owned a white vehicle or have observed one than you may have notice specks of rust .Those metal silver are the cause so Washing car plays very important role to maintain the car.

Abstract:-An online shopping system is a system that permits a customer to submit online orders for items and/or services from a store that serves both walk-in customers and online customers. The online shopping system presents an online display of an order cut off time and an associated delivery window for items selected by the customer. The system accepts the customer's submission of a purchase order for the item in response to a time of submission being before the order cut off time. The online shopping system does not settle with a credit supplier of the customer until the item selected by the customer is picked from inventory but before it is delivered. Therefore, the customer can go online and make changes to the order. In addition, available service windows are presented to the customer as a function of customer selected order and service types and further, the order picking is assigned in accordance with a picker's preference. When ordering goods, many shopping systems provide a virtual shopping cart for holding items selected for purchase. Successive items selected for purchase are placed into the virtual shopping cart until a customer completes their shopping trip. Virtual shopping carts may be examined at any time, and their contents can be edited or deleted at the option of the customer. Once the customer decides to submit a purchase order, the customer may print the contents of the virtual shopping basket in order to obtain a hard copy record of the transaction.

Abstract:-The analysis of human speech is a very challenging research area as it concerns the detection of user communities. Emotions play an initial role in human interaction. The ability to understand human emotions by analyzing voice is desirable in different applications of speech recognition in emotions can be found in different areas, such as the interaction between computers and humans and call centers. Previously, emotion recognition made use of simple classifiers on bag-of-words models. However, the existing work of emotion recognition on Voice was carried out with the help of deep learning techniques on static voice data. The proposed method focuses on increasing the overall accuracy of emotion recognition during calls using artificial intelligence. The overall aim is to accurately recognize the various emotions that a particular speech expresses semantically.

Abstract:-Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attack is an attempt to shut down the service of a target host by flooding the traffic towards the host with the help of many machines in the network. Software Defined Network (SDN) is an emulation of the real network that lets users to configure, manage, secure, and experiment with different real time scenarios, by generating normal traffic, attack traffic, assigning different bandwidth values to links, and optimize network resources via programs. In this paper, we have created an attack scenario, with different experimental network setup, collecting feature vectors in each experiment, and analyzing it using machine learning techniques to detect DDOS attack.

Abstract:- Increasing digital technology has revolutionized the life of people. Unlike the electoral system, there are many conventional uses of paper in its implementation. The aspect of security and transparency is a threat from still wide spread election with the conventional system (offline). General elections still use a centralized system, where in one organization manages it. Some of the problems that can occur in traditional electoral systems is with the organization that has full control over the database and system. It is possible to tamper with the database of considerable opportunities. Block chain technology is one of solution, because it embraces a decentralized system and the entire database is owned by many users. Block chain itself has been used in the Bit coin system known as the decentralized Bank system. By adopting blockchain in the distribution of databases on e-voting systems one can reduce the cheating sources of database manipulation. This project aims to implement voting result using block chain algorithm from every place of election. Unlike Bit coin with its Proof of Work, this will be a method based on a predetermined turn on the system for each node in the built of block chain. This is a project with the objective to develop a basic website where a consumer is provided with a shopping cart website.

Abstract:-Listening to music affects the human brain activities. Emotion based music player with automated playlist can help users to maintain a particular emotional state. This research proposes an emotion based music player that creates a playlists based on captured photos of the user. Manual sorting of a playlist and annotation of songs, in accordance with the current emotion, is more time consuming and quite tedious. Numerous algorithms have been implemented to automate this process. However, existing algorithms are slow, increase cost of the system by using additional hardware and have quite very less accuracy. This paper presents an algorithm that not only automates the process of generating an audio playlist, but also to classify those songs which are newly added and the main task is to capture current mood of person and to play song accordingly. This enhances the system’s efficiency, faster and automatic. The main goal is to reduce the overall computational time and the cost of the designed system. It also aims at increasing the accuracy of the system. The most important goal is to make change the mood of person if it is a negative one such as sad, depressed. This model is validated by testing the system against user dependent and user independent dataset.

Abstract:- The borders between Online Media and E-commerce are diminishing due to the online World. Almost persons in a metropolitan daily use both social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Using networking and the internet, many huge purchases are made on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flip Kart, Snap deal, etc. We can log in to e-commerce websites using our social accounts like Facebook and using social media login to an e-commerce site, we can share our recent purchase details on social media through various links provided on product pages of an e-commerce site. Here, by grasping the information or by gaining the knowledge from using a social account, we are focusing on the cold start product recommendation. This enables to evaluate the needs of the user who are in cold start state situations. When a user logs in to the e-commerce website for the first time, we don't have any information about the history of browsing, purchases, shopping trends, etc. This is nothing but cold start state as any history is not available. When we have users social account information like users posts, friends, comments, shares, etc. then we can tackle this according to our users. For example, we will apply data mining algorithms to access the micro-blogs of the user which has created by the user and extract the useful keywords from micro-blogs. This extracted data, from the users micro-blogs, becomes the basis for our product recommendation in the cold start situations.

Vol 3, No 3 (2018): Service Oriented Architectures: Approaches and Technologies

Abstract: Service-oriented architectures (SOA) is an emerging approach that addresses the requirements of loosely coupled, standards-based, and protocol independent distributed computing. Typically business operations running in an SOA comprise a number of invocations of these different components, often in an event-driven or asynchronous fashion that reflects the underlying business process needs. To build an SOA a highly distributable communications and integration backbone is required. This functionality is provided by the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) that is an integration platform that utilizes Web services standards to support a wide variety of communications patterns over multiple transport protocols and deliver value-added capabilities for SOA applications. This paper reviews technologies and approaches that unify the principles and concepts of SOA with those of event-based programing. The paper also focuses on the ESB and describes a range of functions that are designed to offer a manageable, standards- based SOA backbone that extends middleware functionality throughout by connecting heterogeneous components and systems and offers integration services. Finally, the paper proposes an approach to extend the conventional SOA to cater for essential ESB requirements that include capabilities such as service orchestration, “intelligent†routing, provisioning, integrity and security of message as well as service management. The layers in this extended SOA, in short xSOA, are used to classify research issues and current research activities.

Data leakage is the unauthorized transmission of data or information within an organization or from an organization to the external destination. The data stored in any device can be leaked in two ways; if the system is hacked or if the internal resources intentionally or unintentionally make the data public. Hacking can be prevented by carefully configuring your Firewalls and other security devices but if the internal resources make data public then we must have some preventing solutions. DLP is used to identify sensitive content by using deep content analysis to per inside files and with the use if network communications. DLP is mainly designed to protect information assets in minimal interference in business processes.

Vol 3, No 3 (2018): Survey on Gas Leakage Detection and Explosion Analysis using IOT and Data Mining

Abstract: Development of efficient non-invasive methods would lead into significant gas saving and prevention of health hazards introduced by gas leakage. The proposed system describes the design and implementation of a smart underground gas pipeline leakage detection system using a combination of wireless sensor network and internet of things to monitor and detect the leak in more sophisticated way compared to the existing pipeline leakage detection system. The aim of the proposed system is to detect and capture the details of possible leakages in gas supply of remote underground gas pipelines. Using IOT technology, the proposed system eliminates the human efforts from inaccessible environment by acquiring useful information about leakages that exists in the pipelines by transmitting the data wirelessly. The system acquires necessary data regarding the detection of crack and status of gas flow inside the pipe through wireless sensors internally and indicating flaws of the pipelines to the smart devices of endusers using IOT for the connectivity of devices. Information received is used for further rectification of the pipeline. The expected system would be used to conserve gas and maintain the replacing cost effectively.

Abstract:-Till Now, most classes in institutes/schools/universities are found using the traditional methods of taking students' attendance, by calling out the student names or passing around an attendance paper for students to sign verifying their presence. In addition to the sluggish process, such method is also at higher peril of having students cheating about their attendance, especially in a large classroom. Therefore a method of taking attendance by operating an application running on the Android platform is contemplated in this paper. The open source features of smart phones and android development platform has made the development of application software for various environments as accessible. Smartphone solicitations bring about in paper less work, easy to use and time saving in nature. The Attendance Automation is a mobile computing software application, which targets on an activity, which is based on management information system of academic sectors/institution. In this effort, the systems functionalities are classified as a group and the correlation in grouped functionalities are designed and developed with restate of software components.

Abstract: Web search engines give a ranked list of related documents based on users keywords which depends on various aspects like popularity measures, keyword match, frequency of accessing documents in which users have to check every specific document for getting the desired information and it causes information retrieval a prolonged process. Community Question Answering (CQA) system focus to deliver users short and precise answers instead of irrelevant documents. CQA is a specialized application which deals with information retrieval which has an ability to retrieve the right answers to questions posed in natural language. Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques used to process a question, then searches for the required information regarding user questions to determine the answer accurately. This survey mainly focus on different approaches to solve the problems arising due to the lexical gap and also rank the accurate answers in question and answering blogs such as community question answering websites.

Vol 3, No 2 (2018): Wireless Monitoring and Decision Support for Water Saving in Agriculture

Abstract:-The wireless sensor network is now a day widely used to build decision support for overcome many problems in real world. A decision support system based on the combination of the wireless sensor and actuation network technology and the fuzzy logic theory is proposed to support the irrigation management in agriculture. The farmers experience and the irrigation best practices are modeled through fuzzy rule sets, and the outputs of numerical soil and crop models are used to provide a context-aware and optimized irrigation schedule. The suggested actions are devoted to reduce the waste of water and to maximize the crop yield according to the weather conditions and the real water needs.The proposed methodology is embedded in the network gateway making the system, a truly smart and autonomous wireless decision support system. The purpose of this paper is to design and develop an agricultural monitoring system using wireless sensor network to increase the quality of farming without observing it for all the time manually. The numerical validation and the experiments performed in a field based on parameters thresholding, and an improved exploitation of the irrigated water thanks to the reduction of the percolation phenomenon without affecting the quality of the crops.

 

Vol 3, No 2 (2018): A Multidimensional Review on Communication Issues in MANET and VANET

Abstract: Scheming a sustainable ad hoc network is quite demanding issue due to the fact that energy-controlled nodes are required to run independently for long periods. Communication over wireless media within time constrained is needed to permit real-time mobile applications like interaction between mobile stations or mobile devices or sometimes inter communication among mobile vehicles. In the current technology, Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) are becoming more popular applications in road traffic management and control systems. The problem faced by smart cities in terms of traffic congestion issues can be solved well by the use of VANETs as there is network connectivity between the vehicle and the network infrastructure. A proper high-level communication method to connect independent domains is achieved through real-time event-based communication prototype which has been widely implemented in large distributed control systems. In this paper investigation is done regarding technical and communicational issues in Mobile Ad hoc Network(MANET) and Vehicular Ad hoc network(VANET) such as power management of mobile nodes, delay calculation strategies and communication between components in a VANET .Protocol design parameters are also analysed in both MANET and VANET scenario which are presented in the form of a review so that new researchers can get new investigation scope and direction during real time implementation.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) consists of a detailed plan which specifies how to develop, maintain and replace specific software. Several software development models followed by various organizations are known as Waterfall Model, V-Shaped Model, and Incremental Model. However Agile is adopted to be a winning choice for software development across all industries. The features like possibility of modifications as per requirements at any stage of software development and emphasis given to the business values delivered rather than confirmation to project plan makes Agile distinguishable from traditional software development models. Industries are changing their software development choice as agile methodology. This paper sheds light on advantages and disadvantages of traditional software development models. It shows how the Agile is becoming a winning choice for software development in all industries across the globe.
