Abstract
Power semiconductor devices form the backbone of modern power electronics systems, enabling efficient conversion, control, and distribution of electrical energy. These devices are critical in applications such as renewable energy systems, industrial automation, and electric vehicles. This paper explores the fundamental principles of power semiconductor devices, their types, and their switching characteristics.
