Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) and digital twin technologies are revolutionizing industrial automation by enabling real-time monitoring, simulation, and optimization of complex systems. Digital twins, virtual replicas of physical entities, leverage IoT data to bridge the gap between physical operations and digital analytics. This paper explores the integration of IoT-driven digital twins in industrial automation, highlighting their architecture, applications, challenges, and future potential. Through case studies and detailed analysis, it demonstrates how these technologies enhance predictive maintenance, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
