Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed healthcare, providing innovative solutions to enhance patient care, reduce healthcare costs, and improve remote monitoring capabilities. This paper explores the applications of IoT in healthcare, focusing on areas like remote patient monitoring, wearable devices, and telemedicine, which allow for more flexible and efficient healthcare delivery. However, the integration of IoT in healthcare presents numerous security challenges, including data breaches, unauthorized access, and privacy concerns. This paper examines these challenges and discusses potential solutions to enhance the security and privacy of IoT-based healthcare systems, ensuring that patient data remains protected.
