Abstract: The integration of Big Data Analytics (BDA) in Internet of Things (IoT)-driven Information Technology (IT) systems is revolutionizing the way data is managed, analyzed, and utilized. This paper examines the significant role of BDA in IoT environments, focusing on its impact on data management, real-time processing, scalability, and security. The convergence of these technologies offers immense potential for enhancing efficiency and innovation across various sectors, including smart cities, healthcare, manufacturing, and agriculture. Despite the numerous benefits, several challenges such as data heterogeneity, scalability, and privacy concerns need to be addressed to fully leverage the capabilities of BDA in IoT systems. This paper also explores the technological framework required for successful integration and the future directions of this evolving field.
