Abstract: The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology, connecting countless devices and systems to the internet and enabling unprecedented levels of convenience, efficiency, and innovation. However, this proliferation of connected devices also brings about significant security challenges, as IoT ecosystems become increasingly susceptible to various threats and vulnerabilities. This paper aims to explore the myriad security challenges facing IoT devices and networks, including data breaches, malware attacks, and privacy concerns. Through an in-depth analysis, we examine the nature of these threats and their potential impact on IoT ecosystems. Furthermore, we discuss strategies and best practices for mitigating these risks and enhancing the security posture of IoT deployments. By understanding the evolving landscape of IoT security, stakeholders can proactively address vulnerabilities and safeguard the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of IoT systems.
