Security and Privacy Challenges in IOT Ecosystems

Abstract:The Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a transformative technology, connecting a wide range of devices and systems to the internet, enabling efficient data exchange and automation. However, the rapid proliferation of IoT devices has also given rise to significant security and privacy challenges. This paper provides an overview of the security and privacy challenges within IoT ecosystems, analyzing the potential threats, vulnerabilities, and proposing strategies to mitigate these issues. The paper also highlights the importance of a holistic approach that combines technological solutions, regulatory frameworks, and user awareness to ensure the security and privacy of IoT ecosystems.
