Abstract: Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology for electric vehicles (EVs) has emerged as a transformative innovation, offering efficient, safe, and convenient energy transfer without physical connections. This paper explores recent advancements in WPT systems for EVs, emphasizing breakthroughs in resonant inductive coupling, dynamic wireless charging, and material science. Challenges such as misalignment, power losses, and system scalability are analyzed alongside potential solutions. Future trends like bidirectional energy transfer and smart grid integration are discussed to underline the role of WPT in achieving sustainable transportation.
