This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the various applications of machine learning in smart grids. It discusses the challenges and opportunities associated with the integration of machine learning algorithms in different aspects of smart grids and presents a curated list of notable studies in this field. Additionally, a table summarizing the key applications, associated challenges, and notable references is included.
