Abstract:-Â The CDIO framework is a method for engineering education that aims to develop engineers' skills in a practical, real-world context. This paper aims to investigate the impact of CDIO on the development of the electric grid, which is a critical infrastructure that powers modern societies. The study suggests that the CDIO framework has played a crucial role in the development of the electric grid by providing a practical, interdisciplinary approach to engineering education. The paper also discusses the challenges and opportunities in implementing CDIO in engineering education.
