Abstract:Â The notion of a superconducting fault current limiter discusses two types of superconducting materials: resistive and inductive. We also look at some of the uses of SFCLs, which are used to restrict fault current in power systems. SFCL is utilised not only to reduce fault current but also to provide a connection to increase the power system's reliability. The superconducting fault current limiter also improves the power and integration of the electric power network.
