ABSTRACT: Within circles and domains of conflict and calamities, humanitarian communications has greatly facilitated human engagement and mutual understanding. During a crisis, how information is transmitted and received is critical. With peace on the verge of extinction around the world and the growth of countless humanitarian organisations, the need to explore communication is critical, given the importance of information, mutual understanding, and knowledge to victims of armed conflict and natural disasters. This paper explained the concept of humanitarian communications, types of humanitarian communications, and the importance of humanitarian communications to victims of armed conflict and natural disasters.
