ABSTRACT:The integration of Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and automation into lean manufacturing practices has redefined industrial efficiency, product quality, and operational flexibility. Lean manufacturing, centered on waste elimination and continuous improvement, has found a powerful ally in CAM’s precision and automation’s consistency. Together, these technologies enhance process reliability, reduce human error, and enable real-time adjustments in production lines. This paper examines the symbiotic relationship between CAM, automation, and lean manufacturing, highlighting how their convergence leads to reduced lead times, optimized resource utilization, and improved adaptability in dynamic market environments. Case studies and statistical analyses are used to substantiate the improvements in cost efficiency and product quality achieved through this technological integration.
