This paper explores the convergence of CAM with cyber-physical systems, IoT, and artificial intelligence, which collectively enhance automation, efficiency, and real-time data-driven decision-making. We examine key enablers, benefits, implementation challenges, and real-world case studies. The goal is to present a comprehensive perspective on how digital integration is reshaping the manufacturing domain into adaptive, interconnected, and intelligent systems.
