Automation in Aerospace Manufacturing: Enhancing Precision and Efficiency

Abstract: The aerospace industry demands high precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes, which can be significantly enhanced through automation and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM). This paper explores the application of automation technologies in aerospace manufacturing, including the use of robotics, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and advanced CAM software. The research investigates the impact of these technologies on production speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Through a series of case studies, the paper demonstrates how automation has led to substantial improvements in the manufacturing of aerospace components. The findings highlight the critical role of automation in meeting the stringent quality and performance standards of the aerospace industry.
