Abstract:Â This paper presents the results of the experimental investigation of compressive strength of steel fibre reinforced concrete (SFRC). Variables considered in the project work of various shapes and fiber volume fractions. Using a mix of M20 grade and hooked, flat, crimped fibres with aspect ratio 50 compressive strength is investigated. The fibre volume fraction is varied from 1% to 2% by volume of concrete separately. Standard test specimens for compressive strength were cast and water cured for 28 days. At 1% addition of steel fibres 25%, recycled coarse aggregate with water cement ratio 0.55 compressive strength tests gives best results.
