Abstract: Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) has become a cornerstone of modern nursing care, enabling healthcare professionals to integrate clinical expertise with the best available research evidence and patient preferences. This paper explores the significance, implementation, benefits, and challenges of EBP in contemporary nursing. It highlights the role of nurses in improving patient outcomes through scientifically validated interventions and discusses strategies for integrating EBP into clinical practice. The study also examines barriers such as lack of resources, insufficient training, and resistance to change. The paper concludes with recommendations for enhancing EBP adoption in healthcare systems.
