Abstract: The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) with smart sensors has revolutionized electrical and electronic applications, enabling real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and intelligent decision-making. This paper explores the design, functionality, and applications of IoT-enabled smart sensors across power systems, smart grids, industrial automation, and consumer electronics. It highlights the challenges of interoperability, data security, and scalability while also presenting opportunities for sustainable and energy-efficient technologies. Through analytical discussion and comparative evaluation, this study establishes IoT-enabled smart sensors as pivotal to the advancement of next-generation electrical and electronic engineering systems.
