Abstract: The increasing demand for automation in electromechanical systems has paved the way for the integration of microcontroller-based control mechanisms such as Arduino in controlling DC motors. Speed regulation is critical in many applications including robotics, electric vehicles, and conveyor systems. This paper presents a detailed study on the speed control of DC motors using Arduino, focusing on the integration of Pulse Width Modulation (PWM), motor driver circuits, and feedback sensors. The research aims to provide a reliable, cost-effective, and easy-to implement method of controlling motor speed with precision.
