Abstract: The main aim is to automatically recognize the faces in images and for that purpose some preprocessing is needed. Faces are automatically detected by using face detectors and extracting names uses the name entity detector from candidate name set. Candidate name set is the collection of names appearing in the caption. Illustration of automatic face naming is although the task of automatic faces naming is challenging. There are different kinds of hindrances such as variation in postures illumination, light effects, and expressions. Candidate name set should be clear and effective, but it may be noisy and incomplete. The name may be mentioned but name for the corresponding face in caption may not appear in the image. It is important to research that how to recognize these images effectively in this age of massive explosion.
