ABSTRACT
This paper explores the principles and applications of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) as a method for precise and efficient control of AC motors. FOC is a control strategy that enables the independent control of the magnetizing and torque-producing components of the motor current, allowing for accurate manipulation of motor performance. The paper provides an in-depth discussion of FOC, its mathematical foundation, and its implementation in vector control systems. Additionally, experimental results and case studies are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of FOC in achieving enhanced motor control performance.
