Abstract
The integration of industrial motor drives into the smart grid can provide a number of benefits, including improved grid efficiency, increased grid reliability, and reduced emissions. Demand response (DR) is a key technology for enabling the integration of industrial motor drives into the smart grid. DR allows industrial customers to adjust their electricity consumption in response to changes in supply or price. This can help to reduce peak demand, improve grid reliability, and reduce emissions.
