ABSTRACT
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has seen widespread adoption across various industries, enhancing the capabilities and functionalities of traditional systems. In drives, particularly in electric motor control and automation systems, AI integration offers significant improvements in efficiency, reliability, and performance. This paper explores the integration of AI in drives, focusing on its impact on optimization, predictive maintenance, energy efficiency, and overall system performance. It also examines how AI technologies, such as machine learning algorithms, neural networks, and deep learning, are transforming drive systems. The study presents a detailed overview of AI techniques and their implementation in industrial drives, discussing both the challenges and opportunities. The potential future trends of AI in drive systems are also explored.
