Advanced Control Techniques for Energy Efficiency

ABSTRACT

Energy efficiency is a critical component in achieving sustainability across various sectors. Advanced control techniques have emerged as a pivotal approach in optimizing energy usage, reducing wastage, and enhancing system performance in energy-intensive applications. This paper explores the role of advanced control techniques, such as model predictive control (MPC), fuzzy logic control (FLC), and adaptive control in energy systems. The paper discusses how these control strategies can improve energy efficiency in industrial systems, building automation, renewable energy integration, and transportation. Through simulations and case studies, the benefits of implementing these control techniques are examined, providing insights into future developments and challenges. The paper also presents original tables and figures illustrating the impact of advanced control strategies on energy efficiency.
