ABSTRACT
Electric vehicles (EVs) have gained significant attention as a sustainable alternative to conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. This paper explores the recent trends in high-efficiency drive systems for electric vehicles. It covers various types of electric motors used in EVs, including induction motors, permanent magnet synchronous motors, and switched reluctance motors. The paper discusses the advancements in motor design, control strategies, and power electronics that contribute to the overall efficiency and performance of EV drive systems. Additionally, it examines the integration of energy storage systems and regenerative braking technologies. The study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state and future directions in EV drive systems.
