Abstract: Panchakarma, a cornerstone of Ayurvedic medicine, comprises five primary procedures designed to detoxify the body by eliminating accumulated toxins (Ama). This paper explores the detoxification mechanisms of Panchakarma, detailing each procedure's role and efficacy. By comparing Ayurvedic methods with modern detoxification processes, this study highlights the scientific basis and health benefits of Panchakarma. The integration of traditional knowledge and contemporary science offers a holistic approach to detoxification and overall well-being.
