Abstract: Ayurveda, the ancient Indian system of medicine, offers a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. One of the fundamental concepts in Ayurveda is the concept of Koshta, which refers to the state of the gastrointestinal tract. The Koshta plays a crucial role in maintaining overall health and is of particular significance in the practice of Panchakarma, a specialized Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapy. This paper explores the Ayurvedic concept of Koshta, its relevance in maintaining health, and its importance in the Panchakarma process.
