Abstract: Panchakarma, a traditional therapeutic approach from Ayurveda, has been practiced for centuries and is gaining recognition as an effective method for detoxification and rejuvenation. While the ancient texts of Ayurveda have provided a comprehensive understanding of the principles and benefits of Panchakarma, modern scientific research has started shedding light on its mechanisms of action. This paper aims to explore the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic effects of Panchakarma, as revealed by recent scientific investigations. By bridging the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with contemporary scientific understanding, we can gain valuable insights into the efficacy and potential applications of Panchakarma in modern healthcare.
