Abstract: MOBILTECH today covers not only isolation and safety but also focuses on comfort and style. Textiles in transportation are classified as technical because of the very high performance specification and special properties required. Automotive textile is that part of textiles which is used in accordance with the vehicles, i.e, it is widely used in automotive industry right from light weight vehicles to a heavy truck or duty vehicles. Innovative automotive textiles of the future will have offer enhanced foundations, while at the same time being made from environmentally sustainable materials and offering lighter weight, all at the same or reduced costs.
