Abstract: This paper describes the proposed Tele Reconnaissance And Surveillance [TRAS] ROVER which enables the person/personnel to monitor and acquire data of the environment. Here monitoring is done using 3G module that streams the live video of the environment to the users mobile phone using 3G technology, the geographical position of the field using GPS, it is also enabled with sound and obstacle sensor and the person /personnel can control the TRAS rover using GSM controller. To implement these features we make use of 3G-324 protocol technology, GPS (Global Positioning System) tracker, microphones and IR sensors which will be controlled using Microcontroller through a programming language. All the above information is accessed by person/personnel using a mobile phone through which he/she can view the location. Authentication of the person/personnel is performed in the micro controller using GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) data.
