Abstract:Offshore structures exist in a variety of forms, and they are used for a variety of functions in varied sea depths. These structures are designed for particular circumstances and sea depths. For the uses of these nine offshore structures, many steps for appropriate equipment selection, platform type design, and drilling/production procedures are necessary. The main objective is to give a broad understanding of the many procedures involved in designing, building, loading out, transporting, and installing offshore platforms. There were some debates about the design criteria, such as water depth and environmental factors. Risk assessment and the creation of an inspection plan depend on the structural integrity of six platform components under operational loads and weather storm conditions.
