The Principles of Ayurvedic Diagnosis

Authors:-Ritesh Vishwakarma, Kalash Sisodiya

Abstract:-This paper explores the foundational principles of Ayurvedic diagnosis, an integral aspect of the ancient holistic healing system known as Ayurveda. Focusing on the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—the paper elucidates the significance of balancing these dynamic forces for optimal health. Central to Ayurvedic diagnosis is the recognition of individual constitution or prakriti, leading to personalized healthcare approaches. The diagnostic techniques, including pulse examination, tongue analysis, observation, and questioning, form a holistic framework for assessing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The paper also discusses treatment modalities based on diagnosis, encompassing dietary recommendations, herbal remedies, lifestyle adjustments, and traditional therapies. Despite challenges, the integration of Ayurvedic and conventional medicine holds promise for a comprehensive and integrated healthcare approach.
