Vikrutividnyan Mapping of Dosha-Dhatu Disturbance and Modern Risk Markers in Metabolic Syndrome Screening
Abstract
Metabolic syndrome is a convenient public-health label, but patients often arrive in Ayurveda clinics with heterogeneous patterns of obesity, fatigue, disturbed sleep, appetite variation, stress eating and early biochemical abnormalities. This paper proposes a Vikrutividnyan mapping model that records Dosha-Dhatu disturbance alongside waist circumference, blood pressure, fasting glucose, triglycerides and HDL cholesterol. A synthetic screening audit of 90 adults illustrates how Kapha-Meda predominance, Agni impairment, stress behavior and biomedical thresholds can be recorded without conflating traditional and modern categories. The paper concludes that integrative screening becomes safer when Ayurveda interpretations are transparent, when laboratory values are not ignored, and when high-risk cases are referred or co-managed.
