Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into product design has the potential to significantly enhance the quality, efficiency, and innovation of products. AI techniques such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing enable designers to analyze vast amounts of data, predict user preferences, and optimize designs for better performance. This paper explores the application of AI in product design, highlighting the benefits, challenges, and future scope of this technology. The literature review shows that AI can improve various aspects of the design process, from concept generation to prototyping and testing. Challenges include the complexity of AI algorithms, data quality issues, and ethical considerations. The paper also discusses the scope of AI applications in product design, including automation, personalization, sustainability, and predictive maintenance. Case studies of companies successfully integrating AI into their design processes are presented, along with future directions for AI in product design.
