Abstract
This report aims to place a part in a rotating indexing plate of a machine without any human assistance. In this report the part is a torque prevention nut. This report includes design and analysis of bowl feeder and magazine for conduction of nut up to the placing system. Two possible placing methods were identified. The first method includes use of a flexible strip fixed to a rigid support and a ram fixed to the power press. The second method consists of a pneumatic cylinder, 5X2 DCV, micro-controller (Arduino board), hosing and associated equipment.
