Understanding the complexities of DDIs is vital for healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. This paper provides an overview of the various types of DDIs, mechanisms involved, factors influencing their occurrence, and their implications for clinical practice. Additionally, strategies for mitigating and managing DDIs are explored, highlighting the importance of interprofessional collaboration and evidence-based decision-making.
