Abstract: Nanotechnology's contributions to mechanical engineering focus on enhancing machinery efficiency, reducing wear and tear, and increasing component lifespan. By incorporating nano-coatings and nano-lubricants, engineers have developed machine parts with lower friction and greater heat tolerance, significantly extending the operational life of engines and mechanical systems. This paper explores key innovations, such as nanoparticle-infused lubricants and nanostructured coatings, that optimize machine performance and reduce energy loss.
