Abstract: Composite materials are playing effective role in the development of automotives and aeronautical structural parts. Due to its flexibility and damping qualities and its easy approach of study and development, number of investigation and researches nowadays increases a lot. In this study, basics about Metal matrix composites with aluminium base are briefed. The nature and properties of boron carbide is also discussed effectively. Among many processing technique of AMC’s, a best adoptive technique of microwave sintering methodology for Al-B4C is discussed.
