Abstract: Ayurveda, the ancient system of traditional medicine, has been practiced for thousands of years in India and other parts of the world. Bhaishajya Kalpana, the branch of Ayurveda that deals with formulation development, plays a crucial role in the preparation of Ayurvedic remedies. This paper explores the principles and methodologies involved in the formulation development of Ayurvedic remedies and evaluates their clinical efficacy through a review of relevant literature. The paper also discusses the challenges and opportunities in modernizing Bhaishajya Kalpana and integrating it with contemporary healthcare practices.
