Abstract:Â With the advent of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Web 5.0 technologies, there has been a huge repository of terabytes (TB) of data is generated each day. Analysis of these massive data requires a lot of effort at multiple levels to extract knowledge for decision making. Therefore, big data analysis is a current area of research and development. This article emphasizes the need for big data, technological advancements, and various tools associated with it, and techniques being used to process big data are discussed. This article provides a platform to explore big data at numerous stages and it opens a new horizon for researchers to develop the solution based on the challenges and open research issues.
