Abstract: This paper explores the forensic relevance of herbal remedies documented in Agad Tantra, a key branch of Ayurveda specializing in toxicology. The traditional knowledge of treating various forms of poisoning is assessed in light of modern forensic toxicology practices. By investigating the potential applications of these remedies, the study delves into their legal and toxicological implications. Key insights from classical Ayurvedic texts are analyzed, offering a comparative framework for integrating ancient herbal practices with contemporary forensic medicine. Special emphasis is placed on the identification, chemical analysis, and toxicological relevance of these remedies in modern forensic contexts.
