Safety and Regulation in Ayurvedic Medicine

Abstract:-Ayurvedic medicine, an ancient system of traditional medicine originating in India, has gained global popularity in recent years due to its holistic approach to healthcare. However, concerns regarding safety and regulation have emerged as its use has expanded beyond its country of origin. This paper explores the safety profile of Ayurvedic medicines and the regulatory frameworks in place to ensure their quality and efficacy. It also discusses challenges in harmonizing traditional knowledge with modern regulatory standards and offers recommendations to enhance the safety and regulation of Ayurvedic medicine.
