Abstract : The rise of Industry 4.0 has brought significant innovations in manufacturing, particularly with the integration of smart technologies that emphasize efficiency, automation, and safety. Among these, wearable technologies have emerged as a critical element in enhancing worker safety within smart factories. These devices, embedded with sensors and connected to digital systems, provide real-time monitoring of workers' health, location, posture, and exposure to hazardous environments. This paper explores the application of wearable technologies in improving occupational safety, outlines the architecture of smart wearable systems, discusses challenges in deployment, and highlights potential future trends.
