Abstract : Furniture makers confront mounting pressure for bespoke orders with showroom grade lead times. We retrofit a legacy panel saw line with cyber physical modules—vision guided AGVs, RFID palette tracking, and service oriented workflow orchestration. The hybrid line cut design to ship lead time from 12 days to 72 hours and raised right first time rates to 97.3 %. Financial modelling projects payback in 26 months for medium volume facilities.
