Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool for predictive maintenance in industrial control systems, enabling the prediction of equipment failures before they occur. This paper explores the use of AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks, to develop predictive maintenance models. The paper provides examples from the manufacturing, oil and gas, and transportation industries, where predictive maintenance has significantly reduced downtime and maintenance costs. The challenges of implementing AI in predictive maintenance, such as data quality and algorithm complexity, are also discussed.
